during the super bowl the u.s. air force reserves aired a commercial containing a song that sounded veeery similar to the white stripes’ “fell in love with a girl” and meg and jack were publicly pissed. the composer of the commercial’s song, kern kraft, has now apologized and is taking full responsibility for the unintended copycat song. is “fell in love with a girl” so catchy a song it’s been ingrained into our subconscious and we unknowingly reproduce it when we, musicians sit down to write music or do some of us just wish we were the white stripes?
