i’m gonna keep riding this soul kick cause it’s been good to the week. this nebraska band released their debut album late last month and it’s been burning my ears ever since. fronted by laura burhenn, the band has successfully managed to merge motown, blues, and blue-eyed soul a la dusty springfeild. oh yeah, white peops be feelin it too. (no offense people)
