the black keys – el camino – lonely boy

the black keys – brothers – howlin’ for you

there has been a grindhouse trend going on for music videos as of late. the black keys are on board with that trend with their latest video, but they have done the trend well. the video is a fake movie trailer begging peops to ask the question, who is gonna make the real movie for this thing? yes, it’s that good. the cameos in the trailer are a treat and the band has their bit of screen time as well. enjoy.

the black keys sixth album out in may

after various side projects, the black keys will release their sixth album, brothers, may 18th. hoorah! don’t get me wrong, i love all the hip hop collaborations, but it’ll be good to hear them get dirty again. danger mouse, who produced their last album, only produced one song, “tighten up”, on the forthcoming, the album was recorded at the famous muscle shoals studio in alabama.

blakroc – telling me things (featuring RZA)

blakroc, a collaboration between the black keys and various hip hop artists, was released in november last year and this is my go-to when i wanna rock it ghetto style. how can you go wrong when these southern boys mesh with peops like mos def, rza, a tribe called quest, wu-tang clan, q-tip and the like.
