no summer is complete without a kick ass show at the hollywood bowl. this september 18th lucky californians in the l.a. area will get a triple threat kind of treat. phoenix, grizzly bear, and girls will take the famous stage. kings of leon and she and him will also be playing the bowl in the early summer.
i am almost sick of hearing wolfgang amadeus phoenix, not because it’s terrible of course, but because it’s incredible and i’ve listened to it maybe one too many times. for those of you who still want more, you can download the eight-song live album, live in sydney at your leisure. so there ya go. i mean, not gonna lie, i already downloaded it despite my previous waaahing and it’s preetty cool.

infectious. if it weren’t winter, i’d have the top down. these irish kids are releasing their first full length album in march and phoenix will soon be competing for a spot in those hip new car commercials. the guinness drinking boys even remixed a song for phoenix’s special edition box set. summer starts in march this year.
