dum dum girls – end of daze – lord knows

the l.a. ladies are releasing a new ep next month. “lord knows” is a slow burning beauty in the vein of  “coming down” from their last album, only in dreams. as their sound evolves, we are all clamoring for more. dee dee’s voice just gets more and more buttery and there is no doubt “end of daze” will please all. www.wearedumdumgirls.com

dum dum girls – only in dreams – coming down

the l.a. ladies’ sophomore album was packed with some pretty excellent songs, but this track still holds the lead as the album’s greatest achievement. its new single-shot video serves the ballad’s emotions well. it’s a nod to a 1965 yoko ono performance piece and achieves a somber, yet powerful tone. enjoy.

dum dum girls – coming down – only in dreams

the l.a. girls are back next month with their highly anticipated sophomore album on sub pop. the first taste is an epic ballad reminiscent of mazzy star greatness and evokes the kind of emotions that only truly great songs can. it’s a stunner dripping with reverb that proves these ladies are not ones to f*ck with. www.wearedumdumgirls.com
