it’s 1978. the leeds boys release their debut single. they were quickly signed to emi records after the enormous response to this incredible song and they released entertainment!, their debut album, the following year. it featured “anthrax”, their other eminent track, but “damaged goods” will forever hold a place in my all-time.

bonnie “prince” billy – now here’s my plan – i see darkness
will oldham is releasing a new ep to coincide with the release of his new book this fall. the ep is a re-working of six of his classics. this new version of “i see darkness”, which was originally released in 1999, has considerable more pep than it’s predecessor. the accompanying video is loads of charming and some odd-ball eye effects will have you double-taking. enjoy!
