a solo career seems to be right move for dear rose here. the former pipette is releasing her debut solo album at the end of the month and what i’ve heard from this album is as far away from bubblegum indie pop as alice in chains. let me be clear, i’m not comparing dear rose to alice in chains. that would be ridiculous. her solo stuff is quite somber though, striking, and most beautiful and clearly, the lady has got pipes. this track has a certain special something and is reminiscent of our favorite alternative ladies of the 90′s. carry on with your tuesday with this in the background. www.myspace.com/roseelinordougallmusic
