song of the day

minks – funeral song

i’ll admit i can’t understand the lyrics to most of this song… i know it’s about saying so long to summertime, and maybe i’m a pushover, but that’s all i need cause the music and the voice are irresistible, with a good nod to a lost b-side cure song. these brooklynites have a debut album coming out this fall and i’m intrigued to say the least. check out more tunage on their myspace or look at some choice photos on their wordless blog.
